The concept of this collection board was adaptable garments for children with disabilities. The disability I focused on was type one diabetes. As someone who is type one diabetic I have an intricate understanding of the inconveniences that regular clothing causes for diabetic people each day. The adaptations include side seams that open with snaps so the tubing can pass through the spaces in between. The garments also feature hidden pockets for insulin pumps or insulin pens.
